The United Nations Population Fund, formerly the United Nations Fund for Population Activities, is a UN agency aimed at improving reproductive and maternal health worldwide.
The Population Data Platform will provide a way in which to manage access to and use comprehensive micro-level and indicator data relevant to population matters and UNFPA’s mandate. It will aim to solve the longstanding problem of providing users an easy-to-use, dependable mechanism to discover data, combine these data into useful information sets, and providing openly accessible ways to incorporate those data into analyses and other decision-support mechanisms.
